We are delighted that you are considering the Surrey Muslim School for the education of your child in an Islamic environment. To apply for admission of your child, please fill an Application Form and provide a copy of the following documents along with the administration fee.

 

New Registration

 

Surrey Muslim School accepts students between the ages 5 and 12 on a space-available basis both at the beginning of each new school year and on a rolling-admissions basis during the school year.  We do not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, color, national origin, religion, familial status, genetic origin or native language.

For new registrations you must visit the school prior to admission.

Application Package Checklist

  • Application Form
  • Administration Fee $200.00 (non-refundable). This fee must be submitted with the completed Application Form.
  • Student – Birth Certificate, Citizenship Card, Landed Immigrant Document, Permanent Residency, Refugee Status, Study Permit (International Applicants Only)
  • Parents – Proof of Citizenship (Canadian Birth Certificate, Citizenship Card, Landed Immigrant Document, Permanent Residency Card, Refugee Status, Work Permit or Study Permit)
  • Care Card
  • Most Recent School Report Card
  • Vaccination Record (Immunization)
  • Proof of Residency (Property Purchase Agreement or Tenancy Agreement, Municipal Tax Statement, BC Driver License, Canadian Credit Card or Bank Statement, Utility Bill)

Please note that we will only accept a complete application package.

 

Assessment – All students will be required to attend an admission assessment session.  This is necessary so that we can match the student’s learning needs with the support services available at our school.

The school admissions office will contact parents regarding the Admission outcome.  If the student is accepted, the parents will be required to discuss transport and financial arrangements with the admission office staff.

When arrangements for fee payment and bus transportation are completed, the parents should confirm the student’s enrollment date with the school administration staff.

Transportation – If you require bus transportation, fill out the required forms and attach these to your Application Form.
